Dr. Arvind Poswal's featured presentation at ISHRS conference on "FUE Hair Transplant Gone Bad"

While FUE (follicular unit extraction) is a revolutionary invention in the field of hair transplantation, it doesn't mean that people with hair loss or baldness should rush to any hair clinic that claims to offer FUE. As a matter of fact, because of the popularity and many advantages of FUE over traditional strip procedures, many hair transplant doctors claim to offer FUE just so that they can compete with some of the biggest names in hair transplantation.

FUE is extremely difficult to perform well. It takes a lot of skills, patience and finesse on the part of the doctor and his team of technicians in order to master art of the procedure. When done correctly under the hands of skilled surgeon, FUE is probably as good as it gets when it comes to hair transplantation. However, when done incorrectly, the results can be disastrous and leave the patient with outcomes too graphic even for the sci-fi horror fiction.
